Father and Mother Christmas will be taking-up residence in their festive grotto in King’s Lynn town centre later this month.
The couple will be based in the Vancouver Quarter shopping centre and booking is now open for West Norfolk parents to secure a free chat with them for excited youngsters who will also receive a special gift.
Abbie Panks, Vancouver Quarter centre manager, said: “Following on from last year’s overwhelming response, our team issued an invitation to Father and Mother Christmas on Boxing Day last year to ensure that no West Norfolk children would miss the chance to meet them ahead of their busiest day.
“Fortunately they loved the King’s Lynn grotto so much that they were delighted to accept and will be making lots of visits before Christmas Eve.”
She added: “This year on every Saturday and Sunday that the grotto is open the final hour of the day will be allocated for walk-ins on the day but that will be on a first come, first served basis.
“Our grotto is also completely free but if families would like to make a donation to our chosen charity is East Anglia’s Children’s Hospice, there will be pots available nearby. Or you can text “VQSG47 £2″ to 70070.”
The fantastically festive grotto is being created by a team of magical elves and it will be launched just ahead of the town’s big Christmas lights switch-on event which is being held on Sunday, November 25.
The grotto will then open every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday leading up to Christmas as well as Christmas Eve. Click HERE for all the information.
