We had a fantastic time over the summer holidays when free clubs with activities ranging from circus skills to martial arts kept boredom at bay.
The Summer Holiday Clubs were a popular addition to the diary this year and spaces for each of them were booked almost as soon as they became available with a waiting list for sessions.
There was something for everyone, whether they wanted to learn all things mermaid with the Under Sea event or how to hold an audience spellbound with our unique Acting Masterclasses.
Our holiday club started with a brilliant Mini Beast Adventure when some really big bugs came to the Vancouver Quarter to help children learn about the wonders of insect life.
We also hosted the Samurai Shotokan Karate School for free taster sessions in martial arts. This was followed by all things circus when the skills of the big top were being taught to young visitors who had a go at plate spinning and juggling, among other things.
A maritime theme ran throughout our special Under the Sea event with wonderful mermaid guest Ariel and the chance to learn all things pirate. The fancy dress was brilliant from everyone who came along.
The clubs draw to a close with a packed acting masterclass to be taken by Scott Cripps, a familiar face on the panto stage at King’s Lynn Corn Exchange and fellow actor Chris Dilly.
The clubs were great fun for everyone who came along and we are already working on our next big event around halloween, keep an eye on our social media pages for more details.
