We are turning back the clock a few million years to be transformed into the Jurassic Quarter over the weekend of February 23 and 24.
There will be a whole host of activities to do in the heart of King’s Lynn on the Saturday starting at 10am on Broad Street, and make sure you keep your eyes pealed for Dexter, our resident T-Rex! Although at 3 metres tall he’s hard to miss!
Dexter will be roaming the centre with his handlers from 10am so come along and say hello … he might not bite.
There will also be a fossil-making and masks workshop from 10am to 12.30pm On Broad Street, then after a quick lunch break, come back to recreate a dinosaur footprint and discover all about the dinosaurs that ruled the skies and decorate your own Dino-glider. This will run from 1pm to 3pm.
We also have the baby dinosaurs with us for the day too. You can meet them and their handlers at 11am until 12.15pm and then 1.30pm until 2.15pm. Come along and speak to the experts. Find out all about these beautiful babies and take a look at the fossils on display too!
Then on the Sunday, families can enjoy More Dinosaur-related activities from 10am to 3pm. There will be a special dinosaur trail around the Vancouver Quarter, just collect your map from Broad Street and start hunting. But first make sure you come along and make your special spy glass!
All Dino explorers that complete the trail receive a goodie bag and official explorers certificate!
We are also inviting resident professional photographer Matthew Usher back for a special Jurassic themed photo booth! Have your picture taken with in the land time forgot!
