Come and visit Father Christmas in his grotto in the Vancouver Quarter every Saturday and Sunday from November 30 right up to Christmas. His grotto will also open on Monday 23 December and Christmas Eve (Tuesday 24 December).
This year the grotto will be slightly different, with a wintery path to follow before meeting Santa via the elves’ workshop where young visitors can catch a glimpse of them at work. There will also be a wrapped gift for every child and a professional photographer will be on-hand to ensure the memory is captured perfectly. The pictures will be ready by the time families have said their goodbyes to Santa.
You’re able to book a maximum of three children per order. Adults do not need tickets to accompany their children to visit Father Christmas.
As the venue continues to support the charity East Anglian Children’s Hospices (EACH), there will be a £3 charge per child this year to help the organisation complete its Nook Appeal to provide a new hospice for children in Norfolk. The charity provides a range of help and support to families with children facing life-limiting conditions.
The appeal is paying for the new hospice built at Framingham Earl, near Norwich. The building is up and has seven bedrooms for children and their families to stay, but the total required has yet to be reached.
Booking in advance is essential for slots between 10am and 3pm. There are walk-in slots available from 3pm to 4pm on each date but these must be booked on the day and will be first come, first served.
