The circus came to town for when a special workshop held here in the Vancouver Quarter was awash with big tops and glitter.
Organised to coincide with Heritage Open Day in King’s Lynn, the event proved very popular and the hand-made circus sets were taken home by delighted youngsters who popped in to get crafty.
“It was a busy day in King’s Lynn, which is always fantastic, and was an ideal chance to offer something for the younger visitors who were coming in with their families to enjoy the historic buildings and the car show,” said Vancouver Quarter manager Abbie Panks.
“We know from our Saturday Clubs that there is nothing more fun than a free arts and crafts session and the team wanted to make sure everyone had a great day out in King’s Lynn – whatever their age.”
The next Saturday Club will be on October 20 in the Vancouver Quarter which will become the Jurassic Quarter for the entire weekend. Keep an eye on our Facebook page and website for further details.
