Youngsters gear up for Halloween with special mask making workshop

There were ghouls and monsters of all descriptions when children flocked to a free mask making event at the Vancouver Quarter.

The free event proved to be a hit with the young visitors who arrived on Friday last week to create their very own spooky mask in time for Halloween.

“There were some brilliant masks – it was a really fun event which was packed from the start,” said marketing and events assistant David Blackmore. “Everyone had a great time and went home with their very own mask, and we are hoping to see many of them back in the Vancouver Quarter for the free Halloween Spooktacular and Trail on Tuesday.”

Families should head to the Tuesday Market Place after 3pm to collect their special Halloween trail map before making their way round the town centre and returning to collect their bag of treats. The event ends at 5.30pm.
